On August 1, the registration fee for KTA’s 6th Annual Susquehanna Super Hike and Ultra Trail Run will increase to $100. Register this month to get the reduced rate of only $90! Still not sure if you want to participate?
• Did you consider registering for the Super Hike in the past but didn’t do so because of its length and difficulty? This year, you can choose your own adventure! Register for either the 23.4-mile Super Hike or the 29.6-mile Ultra Trail Run. Hike or run—either option! You may even change your mind near the end—and still receive a completion certificate for the mileage you finished!
• Did you participate in a past Super Hike but aren‘t interested in completing the same event again? This year, we’re reversing the hike—start at Pequea Creek Campground and end at Otter Creek! The dirt beneath your feet will be the same, but the terrain, turns, and scenery will all seem brand-new when you about-face and hike the course in reverse!
• Concerned about not finishing in the allotted amount of time? This year, we’ve extended the time limit to complete the course to 12 hours (an extra 30 minutes) for both mileage options. You’ll need to maintain a minimum pace of about 2.5 mph to complete the 29.6-mile option, or around 1.95 mph to complete the 23.4-mile option, in 12 hours.
