The Butler Outdoor Club's annual Outdoor Extravaganza will be held on Memorial Day weekend (May 23-26, 2014), with a base camp at Breakneck Campground. Please mark your calendars now, so you don't miss this fantastic, family-friendly weekend!
More details and registration will be online here soon. We will have lots of great day outdoor activities, workshops and excursions planned for this year. On Friday evening, we have a Wiener Roast Picnic, and on Saturday evening will we have a pig roast. In addition, we will have evening entertainment every night, as well as opportunities to receive reiki and massage therapy from experienced professionals! Camping and food (both are optional) will be provided by Breakneck Campground, near McConnells Mill State Park.
Register for the day (or days) you want to come, and choose whatever activities you want each day. Note, some activites fill up quickly, and you don't want to be disappointed, so sign up early! You will meet your leader or instructor at the campground. Day-long activities will meet at 9:00 AM, and the morning and afternoon activities will meet at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM each day (the exception is the Nautical Nature Boat Tour). Leaders and Instructors will meet you at trip signs that will be placed in the field each day. Then off you go, carpooling to the activity!
