Congratulations to the 2013 100-Mile Challenge Finishers!

September 1, 2013 marked the end date of KTA's 2013 100-Mile Trail Challenge. We encouraged hikers to get out on the trails and record their miles with hopes of completing 100 miles or more, while raising a dollar per mile, over the last year. And boy did they outdo themselves! All 13 participants truly went above and beyond with this challenge in both miles completed and dollars raised, giving a whole new meaning to giving KTA a "run (hike?) for our money"!

Each sponsorship dollar raised helps KTA fulfill its mission of protecting and maintaining Pennsylvania's beautiful hiking trails, an astonishing combined total of $2,620!

A special shout-out to top-dollar fundraiser Jeremy "J.R." Snyder, for raising $653 in contributions, and to Daryl Warren, age 79, who recorded a whopping 453 miles on Pennsylvania's trails this year!

All participants have something to be extremely proud of for their physical achievement and for supporting KTA's goals in a unique way! Challenge participants will be presented with a special certificate during KTA's October 12 Awards Recognition Ceremony. Congratulations to the following individuals that completed the 2013 100-Mile Trail Challenge:
