Hi-Tec Sports donates boots to KTA volunteers

Hi-Tec Sports has generously donated new hiking boots to volunteers who participated in the 2009 KTA Trail Care and Trail Crew season. Eighty-eight KTA volunteers signed up to participate in the boot giveaway program.

Many volunteers were able to pick up their boots at the recent KTA Spring Meeting & Hiking Weekend in Wellsboro. Other volunteers will be picking up their boots at upcoming trail care events, future KTA hiking weekends or in the Harrisburg office.

Hi-Tec focuses on developing attractive, comfortable, light-weight high-quality shoes at a fair "true value" price. Hi-Tec Sports applies high technology build processes and leverages innovative materials to ensure the ultimate in comfort, whether your needs are performance-oriented or more leisure wear centric. Many thanks to Hi-Tec for providing this generous donation of hiking boots, and many thanks to our volunteers who provide hours of service to help maintain Pennsylvania's hiking trails.
