Keystone Trails Association seeks submissions for our Winter Trails Photo Contest. Please e-mail your favorite photos (limit 3 per person) of Pennsylvania hiking trails in winter to shaxby@kta-hike.org by 7 AM on Monday, November 14, 2016. A maximum of 30 photos will be included in the Winter Trails Photo Contest, which will take place November 14-20, 2016, via the KTA’s Facebook page. If you are not already our “friend” on Facebook, this is a good opportunity to start and to invite your hiking buddies to do the same so they can vote for your photo!
The photo with the most votes (“likes”) by 7 AM on November 21 will be highlighted in December edition of The Keystone Hiker, on Facebook, and on KTA's website. In addition, the person with the winning photograph will receive a complimentary one-year membership to the Keystone Trails Association!
If the winning photo can be cropped for use as the header photo for The Keystone Hiker, it will stay that way for the December, January, and February editions. Otherwise, another photo may be used for this purpose.
Rules: The photo must be taken of a Pennsylvania hiking trail in the winter months (approximate). Please include the name of the hiking trail and/or vista or landmark, the names of any individuals in the photograph for whom faces are apparent, and your full name, e-mail address, phone number, and city/ state. Only digital photographs will be accepted. By providing us with a photograph, you automatically give us permission to use it on our Web site and in any/all digital communications.
