GUEST ARTICLE: TAKE THE WILDLIFE TOURIST SURVEY

In response to a competitive request for proposals process, Dr. Susan Ryan of California University of Pennsylvania was awarded a research grant from the Center for Rural Pennsylvania, which is a legislative agency of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Her project is entitled Wildlife Tourism on Pennsylvania’s Public Lands. The study seeks to understand wildlife enthusiasts in Pennsylvania especially with respect to their use of Pennsylvania State Game Lands. She is gathering input via an online survey available via www.calu.edu/wildlife.

Dr. Susan Ryan is a Professor at California University of Pennsylvania where she directs the Bachelor of Arts in Geography: Tourism Studies program and the Cal U Tourism Research Center. If you wish to participate in the survey of wildlife enthusiasts, please visit www.calu.edu/wildlife. You are also welcome to distribute this link to others in your network of contacts and/or social media. The more participation in the survey then the more informative Dr. Ryan’s eventual reporting will be to all users of Pennsylvania’s publicly administered and managed lands.
