MAY 14: WILMINGTON TRAIL CLUB APPALACHIAN TRAIL WORK DAY - FOX GAP, PA

May 14, 2016: Appalachian Trail work trip to (KTA club member) Wilmington Trail Club's maintained section at Fox Gap PA.

Leader-Jan King, yorklyn@aol.com, 302--530-6798. General work trip involving shelter cleanup, repainting some blazes, trimming brush along trail. With enough people (two cars) we can hike the entire 7 mile section.

Logistics: In Delaware, meet for 7:30 AM start at Brandywine Park and Ride, at Brandywine Commons, Wilmington. Others: Meet at Fox Gap 9:30-10:00 AM. Leave Fox Gap 4-5PM, arrive Wilmington 6:30-7PM.

Possible snack stop at Village Bakery in Delaware Water Gap end of day. No experience, only enthusiasm, needed, WTC club membership not required. Dress for a long day outside on occasionally rocky trails, bring gloves, your favorite hand trimmers if you wish, lunch, snack, water. Pre register by Friday May 13, to obtain meeting time.
