The Wilmington Trail Club, a KTA member club and an Appalachian Trail (AT) maintaining club, is inviting anyone interested in AT maintenance to contact the club via AT Supervisor, Jan King, yorklyn@aol.com. The club is seeking volunteers for maintenance trips in 2016 and beyond to its 7.2-mile AT section from Delaware Water Gap to Fox Gap in Monroe and Northampton Counties. There will be trips, probably monthly, for basic trail and shelter maintenance, boundary maintenance and monitoring, and a 2016 assets inventory. These trips will usually be scheduled for Saturdays at least a month in advance. Impromptu trips may be scheduled a few days in advance to allow time for volunteers to prepare.
