Iceland, the land of fire and ice, is among the most unique hiking destinations in the world. From Iceland’s capital, Reykjavík, we will venture to the volcanic Westman Islands, the enormous Vatnajökull Glacier, Skaftafell National Park with its spectacular waterfalls, and points in between. Trails wind through other-worldly landscapes, leading to geysers, lava fields, boiling springs, and steamy fumaroles, as well as thundering waterfalls, dwarf forests, and icebergs.
