MEMORIAL FOR ROY P. KLEINLE

Roy P. Kleinle, 73, of Boalsburg, husband of Paula Kutler Kotary, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at home.
Born Oct. 21, 1942 in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Burton F. and Anna Mae Beckler Kleinle. On Oct. 20, 2012, he married Paula Kotary, who survives.
Also surviving are his one sister, Barbara Kleinle of Newhall, California; two brothers, John Kleinle and his wife, Marie, and Burton F. Kleinle Jr. and his wife, Beverly, all of Stroudsburg. Roy was a special uncle to several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and siblings, he is survived by Paula’s children, Dr. Edmond M. Kotary and his wife, Jocelyn, of State College and their children, Hope and Paige; and Dr. Lisa A. Jenkins of Audubon, and her children, Grayson and Dane.
He was a 1960 graduate of Stroudsburg High School and a 1965 graduate of East Stroudsburg University, earning a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Education.
Roy retired in 2012 as a Law Librarian at the Monroe County Courthouse. Prior to that he was a mathematics teacher.
He attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. He was an avid hiker and conservationist.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Pkwy, State College, with the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard officiating. Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
