KTA is seeking submissions for our Fall Photo Contest. Please e-mail your favorite autumn photo of a Pennsylvania hiking trail to shaxby@kta-hike.org by 5 PM on August 14, 2015.
A maximum of 10 photos will be included in the contest, which will take place August 14-20 via KTA’s Facebook page. If you are not already our “friend” on Facebook, this is a good opportunity to start—and to invite your hiking buddies to do the same so they can vote for your photo!
The photo with the most amount of votes (“likes”) by 5 PM on August 20 will be highlighted in KTA’s September 2015 newsletter as well as on Facebook and on KTAs Web site. In addition, the person with the winning photo will receive a complimentary 1-year membership to KTA!If the winning photo can be cropped for use as the newsletter’s header photo, it will stay that way for the September, October, and November newsletters. Otherwise, another photo may be used for this purpose.
Rules: The photo must be taken of a Pennsylvania hiking trail in or around the fall months. Please include the name of the hiking trail, vista, or landmark, the names of any individuals in the photo for whom faces are apparent, and your full name, preferred e-mail address, phone number, and city/state. Only digital photos will be accepted. By providing us with a photo, you automatically give us permission to use it on our Web site and in any/all digital communications with credits to you.
