Sparked by the passing of founder Tom Thwaites this past winter, the Mid State Trail Association is determined to double-down its efforts to keep the longest and wildest hiking trail in Pennsylvania at the top of its game. With some of the finest views anywhere in the state, the Everett Region is in need of dedicated maintainers to walk the ridgeline. As an integral part of the Great Eastern Trail, volunteers will also be helping ensure that backpackers have the experience of a lifetime walking through our state.
