Jennifer Pharr Davis has logged over 12,000 miles on six different continents, including thru-hikes of the Pacific Crest Trail, the Colorado Trail, Vermont’s Long Trail, numerous trails in Europe, and the Appalachian Trail (three times). Her new book, Called Again, chronicles her record-breaking A.T. hike (47 miles per day for 46 days) and has been called “an inspired exploration of the meaning of commitment” by Kirkus Reviews. She has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, NPR’s Talk of the Nation, The Daily Beast, and the CBS Early Show. On July 19, 2015, at 2 PM, Jennifer will be sharing slides and stories, answering questions, and reading excerpts from her new book “Called Again.” She will also be selling and signing books after the program. The event will be held at Bosler Memorial Library, 158 W. High Street, Carlisle, PA.
