Good news! On February 19, 2015, KTA received a letter from William Capouillez, Bureau of Wildlife Habitat Management at the PGC, inviting two representatives of Keystone Trails Association to attend a meeting on March 17 "to discuss the use of SGLs by non-hunting groups” on behalf of the Pennsylvania trails community.
The meeting will cover existing regulations; identifying trails requiring user agreements; establishing joint partnerships for public outreach efforts, trail agreements and maintenance; plans of action; and monitoring goals.
We’re pleased to know that our recent outreach and advocacy efforts have resulted in what will hopefully be a stronger working relationship with PGC, and will keep you updated on our progress.
