The next work day on the Tanbark Trail for the Allegheny Trail Crew will be Saturday, September 6. The focus will be on rehabbing the two broken bridges at the west end of the trail, and installing water bars at the river end.
This one-day event will complete the trail!
We’ll meet at 9 AM at the Heart's Content Interpretive trail parking lot (just a short distance to the bridges which are close to the roads). We will then drive down to the river to work on the water bars. Bring water and lunch! If you have shovels, mattocks, good work boots, gloves, and hardhats, please bring those along as well. Extra hard hats will be available for those that do not have their own. Eat a good breakfast, you'll need it!
