PA A.T. LICENSE PLATE FINALLY AVAILABLE

by Jim Foster, Secretary, KTA Board of Directors

After 8 long years, the Pennsylvania Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) Specialty License Plate is now available, with a portion of the proceeds dedicated to help manage and protect the Appalachian Trail (AT)! That means you can both show your love for the AT and benefit the trail that you love. Pennsylvania joins Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia in offering a specialty plate to honor the AT.

There is a one-time plate fee of $50. As a revenue-sharing plate, $21 of the $50 fee is transferred to ATC to help support its mission. You can also choose to personalize your plate, using five letters or numbers in combination. There is an additional fee to personalize your plate. A disabled symbol is also available. Registration is easy! Follow this link for the form to order your plate today.

After completing the form, mail it to Att: Accounting Department, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, PO Box 807, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425-0807. Please do not mail the form directly to PennDOT, as that will delay processing. All fees are to be made payable to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
